If yak works outside in his boxers in his climate, should make him good with handling the small parts.... >:D

Did the full time mod and OMG that was easy . Took off the fuse box , switched a wire and POOF done way too easy , no cutting , no crimping no nothing. but i had to go by new bulbs for the top running lights since i used 3157nall on the bottoms so i got some for the top just waiting till the temp gets above 40 to get out there and do it . DAM IT COLD ! !

Hey AW ! I was reading your message here. You said you were going to buy new bulbs for top running lights. Is that the parking lights your talking about?? With the 3157's , did it end up being a different color ??

Tommy J. ??? :D

Which wire? Sounds like you need to take a trip to warm ol AZ so you can work on that beast...

Very nice! Welcome to the amber club! (y)
I went to a couple of auto stores and dug thru the whole rack of bulbs till I found the closest match to my running lights. :0:

:B: John in Oregon :B:

So are the '03's and "04's the same to do full time DRL's? I know tha tthe '02's are not. Where would I find the instructions for doing a '04? What about cladded vrs WBH? Is the mod the same on both?

I keep the F*rd outside; the Chevys are in the garage!

The weather finally cleared for me to finsh FTDRL. I want to thanks WestTXAvy for his instructions using the diode. The lights work as they should and I have control over the DRL if I want them off.

I like the look at night with the headlights. Others have ask if the amber glow affects the headlights at night and I only notice a small amber glow close to the AV. Headlights look the same on the road.

Thanks again WesTX Avy, great instructions.

Ok stupid question... What is the part # for the amber DRLs... I bought some lights that were listed to work in amber but when I pluged them in they do not work. Oh the crap I get into...
Help

Do mean they plugged in but did not come on ?

You have to find a nice curb and leave it in Drive , that is the only time the DRL's will be on , unless you have fulltimes mod installed . Soon as the vehicle is placed in park they turn off normally.

You can also use your key fob to activate the perimeter lighting.

Added ambers today. Also added the DesignTech 50w backup lights.
