BBK 80mm throttlebody

This product is available from Tom Byrne MS.
Has anyone put one on or know anything about it?
I wonder what the bore is of the stock throttlebody?
Would a stock or aftermarked (ie Volant) intake still fit around it?
It looks interesting to me, but I need more information.

Hey Damon.., Im running the BBK 80mm throttle body with my Whipple supercharger..., the only reason im running it is that the intake opening on the Whipple is almost 80mm.., so I only had to do a very small amount of ginding to Port Match it to the Whipples intake... If your going to put it on the stock plastic intake.., and dont have a supercharger you will have to use the adaptor that comes with it that reduces it down to the stock intakes opening..., and will basically gain very little (1-3 H.P) or nothing from installing it... The stock intake tube will fit fine with it, its just a hair longer in length than the stock throttle body..., a friend of mine even after I warned him that it was not going to show much if any gain put one on his 5.3.., and lost 3 h.p. on the dyno.... I did gain 8 h.p. running it with my supercharger though.., as it was able to flow additional air compared to the stock TB through the Blower..., so im still running it.., also it did cause some part throttle issues that required some tuning to make right...., touchy throttle off idle and short shifting at light throttle.., but these issues where corrected on the dyno with tuning.......
