Bed Handle Issue

So the issue that I'm having is a broken handle to the bed. The keyed handles separate however the keyless one that I have does not. Can I please get some advice. I took it to a dealership and left it for 2 days. Either the fix was not their expertise or what. Thanks

do you mean the one on the tail gate?
Thought these trucks 2007-2013 had power locks only?

They do have powered locks but something inside broke. The dealership I took it to had it for 2 days and hadn't looked at it. I need a DIY solution. I hope I don't have to replace the tailgate as a remedy
