When I was washing my AV's box today I noticed that the bed mat has some stuff in the cracks and I know it is removable but I was wondering how hard it is to put in and take out and has any one done it??

I toke out my bed panels and went down a dusty road all the dust got in my bed.

I took it home (where I have free water), and got a hose on a low pressure/no nozzle and washed out the bed some more. ?Got rid of more sand. ?Thought I had it all, dried it off, and parked it in the garage to dry some more. ?Guess what? ?I see I still have sand. ?I'm gonna try to vacuum the rest of it out with my shopvac.
I've removed the forward drain cover many times too--it just snaps into place with some rubber grommets and pins. ?I've also removed the spring-loaded midgate/cab "bridge" with the 6 or 7 torx screws that hold it in. ?Sometimes you have to remove this to clean underneath it too. ?I'm thinking that with all this sand, this is one of those times.
Good luck.

P.S. ?I've had the waffle pattern from the mat since day one. ?Good to hear some wax will take it off.
