Has anyone done any mod's to their bed slide, beside the handle?
Anybody come up with somthing to contain pakages towards the rear?
Will a cargo net work?

Matching bedslide to bedmat? ?:D

I've also added clips to the midsection of the slide (since Chevy forgot to add them to the middle of the bed)

Is that the regular Avalanche bed mat that you cut down? That's cool, but I am way too anal to do that to the mat. I wonder how much a replacement mat costs?

I don't follow on the clips, can you explain more?

I have a "Joey Bed". It is just like the bed slide, but have to make the floor yourself. I made a removeable wall on the tailgate end so small things dont fall out when you open the tailgate.

If you need to contain your packages or for loading groceries THIS is what you need! You can follow the thread and I think the pictures are on page 8 & 9.

I saw the swing out box, it's really neat but not what i want. ?I think it will be awesome for some people but it doesn't fit my needs.

It's too much trouble to take stuff out of the box if you have the swingbox loaded and the space next to the box loaded. If that happens you have to unload all the crap on the right in the bed first to swing out the box. ?I like the bedslide idea, just like pulling out a drawer.

Now mounting one of your boxes directly to the bed slide might be a good idea.
-- or maybe the box can be modified so it can either swing out or slide straight back?

any way, I still think your idea and execution of it is awesome, you will sell a ton of them

good luck!

Just finished my Bedslyde. $50 and 2 hours. I went to Sams today and almost cried. It was so easy to load!!! GREAT MOD.

Is that custom-made bedslide made of plastic or wood or fiberboard? I'm going to make one my next free weekend. Yours looks good.

Being the cheap...err..uh, frugal person I am, I went to Lowes and spent $9.00 on an expandable shower curtain rod - opened it up so it would stay put, and can now adjust it to whereever i need it.... ;D
