You're right, no one can say no to that!!  Especially in the cold!!  Murman, you had the right idea about the smoker on a trailer rack deal.  Seen some going for like 300 bucks.  But since I'm a girlyboy and don't want to lift heavy weight I still wanna go for a trailer with a smoker/bbq grill on it.  Maybe I can talk the family into chipping in since I'm always the one cooking at cookouts, etc. ??

Folks,

CGU and I are driving to NORCAL on the 29th, with the boat in tow, if I do not sell it Saturday.  This leg is her move to Janesville, CA.  I will fly back and join her in Jan 07.  I will go through MO and KS.  I do not have a set time line.  Maybe we can meet for a meal.

That would be really cool Murman!? Will you be driving West on I-70 through Kansas City or further South than that?? Let me know your route.? I understand there is no time line but, what time do you estimate that you will be coming through?
 
I think I will be on 70 to Denver...

We are leaving Friday, so we should/can be in your area by Saturday, I think...

Depending on when you leave you could be in KC Friday evening... it's only 500 miles.  Now towing a boat you'll probably have to stop to fill up a time or two but I can make it in about 8 hours without stopping. 
 
Yea bro, let us know what time you are going to ship out on Friday so we can be expecting you at a certain time............ where is the main question?? Somewhere off of I-70 so you don't have to be too far off course.  And of course if you need somewhere to crash for a bit, mi casa es su casa though humble it may be!!!  Of course, will have some old style waiting for you not sure if it's available in old Cali.

Well Murman, as great as it would to see you again I have to back out on this deal.  I told my mother that I would bring the little girl out to Garden City that weekend because that will be my last chance until after the first of the year and she can't wait that long to see her granddaughter (of sorts).  So I will be headed West on Friday.  Maybe next time.  You guys have fun.
 
I will vouch for Don's.? We ate there last year and it was very good.? It looks like crap from the outside, but it really was a good place to eat...

Also, here is a look at what the steaks looked like on that day.

I just realized if we do this, it'll have to be friday dinner if I am to go along.  I am going to be swamped working inventory and computer system changes all day Saturday and Sunday.
