I found a bottle of that Avalanche beer in Huggy's garage but he wouldn't give it up for nothing. :E:

GOOD IDEA DAVE...

Thank you  :needhug: Last year was a little hard to find out who was who as it was let alone who had brought beer to swap. At the end it was just swapping bottles. In fact I just had one of JJ's that Guy had at his house the other night

I didn't find out that Vetman and Ghost had any till after we got home  :E: I think that was because they were playing poker while some of the others were in the parking lot.

I am sure you can count my hubby in on this!!!  The only 2 beer I remember had pumpkin and blueberry's in it.  They were yummy!!!

Dave, I'd given you a Bud Light if you had asked. Hate to see a grown man scrounging around the garage looking for beer.

  It just happened to be when I was under Tom's truck talking to Mike not modding.

Besides I seem to find your beer without even looking.

Count me in, Bell's here in MI makes some pretty good brews...

Are these guys any good?

Doesn't look like they sell the beer online yet. Black Bavarian and the Irish Pub brews look nice to me

One of my favorites is made in WisconSIN and is very hard to find outside that area.

Oh---The idea is to get something from your own area or I would use Magic Hat from Vermont. Which JJ brings down with him.

I think the Ice Cream Shop around the corner from us sells that Root Beer.

Someone from that area may be bringing some with them >:D

The original Yuengling Brewery is up here.  But that is gaining popularity and can just about be bought just about anywhere now.

Haven't seen that on this side of the state... they might sell it over by Shels... but there are about 15-20 microbreweries right around town that make some mighty good brews...

If all else fails just make sure to have plenty of Jello shots (y)

Ah, the things I have to do to get ready for a GTG.
So far I've tried three local brews (Delaware is local enough to NJ. Right? Its less then an hour away.)

Flying Fish? ?
A bit of a bitter bite, strong flavor. Don't try this before River horse, you won't even taste the River horse.

River Horse (Yup, there's a hippo on the label.)? ?
Light tasting beer. Not bad, but almost a week taste. This might be because of trying Flying Fish before tasting River Horse.

Dogfish Head (IPA 60)?? (Dogfish=sand shark)
Best one so far. Had two while helping a friend work on a trailer and they went down smooth and tasted great. We had to stop working for a bit, about the time we noticed they are 6% alcohol. Went great with dinner too, beer battered fish. (Used Guinness in the batter.) Not the best refreshment to drink while modding but, great when you're not going anywhere for a while. (They have a 9% alcohol beer too.)
