Beginner Looking For Suggestions

Okay, I'm a beginner. I've never made mods to my cars! :-[ I'm looking for suggestions on what I can do or get done. Now before I get 100 posts with a lot of huge mods that I'll never do, let me set some guidelines.

- Mods that anyone can do. I'm mechanically inclined but not an automotive mod expert.
- I'm looking for the most bang for the buck. It doesn't HAVE to be inexpensive but I'm looking to crawl before I run a marathon so making inexpensive mistakes are better than expensive ones.
- Performance and comfort/entertainment over vanity/cosmetic. I like how the Av looks as is. (y)
- I'd really prefer non-destructive mods. ie. mods that, if I mess them up, I can undo easily without any visible damage (no cutting the leather!)
- OEM kits are fine. Suggestions related to where to buy really appreciated. I'll give club members my business first if possible.
- Lastly, I don't have a garage, so mods that take multiple days with the AV open to the elements have to be REALLY good.

Now, if you can live with all these guidelines and have any good ideas I'd really appreciate your suggestions. ;D

Welcome to the site Guido!

You will find a whole truckload of information in this forum. Thankfully, our faithful down-under member Skidd has put together a massive list of Advice, MODs, and FAQs that makes searching through the site a little easier. Read on down through the list of topics and see if any catch your eye. Then you can read the specific instructions and get a feel for whether it's something you want to tackle.

Mod on!
