Best location to tap power.

Looking to hardwire my V1 and wire the AAI-GM24. Can I just tap the cig outlets with a power tap?

You might want to use a Wire-tap at the driver's fuse box. So devices come on when Acc is On. The cig & aux outlets are Hot - all the time. You could tap into the existing Radio for the AAI-GM24 & V1.
