This post is to consolodate 2 offers from BilletPro. The first is a standard 20% discount on retail items as CAFCNA members.

The second is a higher discount, currently at 30% and for customized AC control billet knobs.

You may participate in either or both. Instructions from the original posts are below. I will continue to update this thread with information until the second custom group buy is closed.

New Question:
Can we get the Headlight or AC knobs with Z66 instead of just Z71?
Answer:
Yes.



Question:
Can we get the knobs in different anodized colors?
Answer:
No, he works with the straight billet only.

Question:
Can we get the entire word Avalanche on a single knob?
Answer:
No, the surface area is too small for the entire word.

Question:
Can we get the knobs in brushed instead of polished aluminum?
Answer:
No, since he has not attempted to try a different finish like the brushed.

Question:
Can we have the words AVA ?LAN ?CHE placed on the 3 AC knobs accordingly using the same font as Chevy?
Answer:
Yes, no problem, and he will do some initial work and send some pics for me to post here shortly.

Question:
Can we get the knobs with just Av on them?
Answer:
Technically yes, but more folks would rather have the letters AVA LAN CHE spread out among the 3. So I will stick with the original plan to keep additional costs down.

Question:
Can we have the letters CAFCNA using the Chevy font done on the headlight knob?
Answer:
No, he tried and it simply will not fit.

Question:
Will there be a upcharge for the customized AVA LAN CHE engravings?
Answer:
No, the charge is nominal and I personally will cover the cost.

Retail pricing is $15 for the headlight knob and $45 for the set of 3 AC control knobs.
For orders that equal 250-500 dollars=20%
For orders that equal 500-1000 dollars=25%
For orders that equal 1000-1500 dollars=30%

For more than that, he said there could possibly be a deeper discount.

If you want to participate, please send an email to gwthomas@ev1.net with the following information so I can compile a complete list for submission:

1. Name.
2. Address.
3. State if/which headlight switch you want. Z66, or one of the stock ones listed on the BilletPro website.
4. State if/which AC control switches you want. A set of the stock ones listed on the BilletPro website, Z66 or the custom AVA LAN CHE.

I anticipate a 2 week period in which I will collect orders then close the deal.

Update on group buy!!!

Here some pics of the custom knobs taken from different angles and lighting. I think you all will like them.

Shipping and payment information:
Each person will contact BilletPro after I submit the final list to them on 10/11/02. They will cross reference against the list and ship directly to each person.
Payment can be made by check, Money Order, Credit card direct on the Billetpro website or phone, and PayPal. Shipping will be $4.50 per person and they use USPS Priority Mail.


Right now, I have 40 orders, which places us at the 40% discount range. If we keep going, here is the breakdown:
25 orders =35%
34 orders =40%
42 orders=45%
51 orders=50%


I will be taking orders until October 11th, close of business. I will be submitting the complete list of buyers and choices to BilletPro that evening. So if you have not sent me a email with the info I need, and want to participate, you have until 10/11/02. At close of business that day, I will do a final post with payment and shipping information again as a reminder.
 
Just a quick note to let folks know that after the 30% off discount group offer is closed....
...the 20% club discount will still be available indefinitely for individual orders.

On the A/C panel I chose Horizontal Bar, Bowtie, Horizontal Bar...
and a Bowtie for the headlight knob.

I have been updating the original post here. We have 24 as of today. We are at 30%. If we get 1 more person, we jump to 35%. I figured with 3000 members, this would generate more interest. :rolleyes:

Well, after having a meet this past weekend with 19 Av's, 2 or 3 of which had the billet knobs. Thus, after a look, their on my mother's x-mas list, so I don't know if she'd want to order them yet.

I'll check in if she does.

come on MOM buy now save the 35-40% , hide them and put under the tree later.....ALL of you thinking this would be a good Christmas MOD...buy now...only 6 more to push the discount to 40% use the saving to get another MOD >:D

At the risk of sounding dumb here, what does the "NFE" stand for? :2:

I'm sure it's something simple that I've just overlooked, but I am drawing a blank.
