Billet gas door/ Christmas came early!

Yesterday I got my Billet gas door in and I do have to say it looks sweet. The pop open door latch is cool, its like the same thing on my glass cabinet doors. The price was not bad too, $160 CDN. tax in. These are the pic's

I keep looking at these things and just Don't know if I want to dish out the $$ for a gas door. I need to see one in person to decide probably. sorry for the blurb.

Yak, were can I get mine ingraved, I rather have that done instead of a sticker. Accually I've seen some one with one on this site.

Bonedog, note sure where you are, but if you are from Toronto or at least near by you can come into Racetech and have a one on one touchy feely session. I won't charge you for that.

I haven't installed it yet, but from the instructions it's a dirrect bolt in, no drilling. I like that.

I guess I just don't know about these doors.. I want the rugged look on my AV without bling bling look. I think what is throwing me off is the polished look. If it was maybe CF or black chrome maybe I would spend the $$. Also Joe thanks for the offer for coming into your shop and getting touchy feely with the parts

Got a brushed alluminum one still in the blister pack off Ebay for $77 shipped. Found under Silverado listings.

Bonedog, I don't think they come C/F but they do come in brushed aluminum some thing like a satin finish, the price is cheaper $ 130. Cdn. the polished ones are $140. Cdn.
I like the polished look, it goes well with the polished on my grill.
I guess if you were to keep your truck stock looking, I mean the wheels then the brushed gas door will match.

Yak, thanks for the info on the ingraving. I'll have to find out if Gino's is a nice enogh guy to have this done for me.
