ok, ive had my 07 av for about two months now. i absolutely love it. its my favorite vehicle so far. even though, i cant wait to mod this thing. its killin me. so far i have added a 12 inch sub in the back and a gps up front. i realy really want to add rims and tires. but cant afford it right now. so i had to tame this itch im having, i thought i would alter the factory 17's. i thought about powder coating them, but then decided against it because they wanted 450 $ . i just cant see paying that for rims im only gunna rock for a little while.. what i decided to do was paint the center cap on all for wheels to where it will match the truck. so it would look something like this but with out the crevaces and dullness of the plastic .( the covers are aluminum)
i took the covers off the lug caps. and put the caps back on to get an idea of what it would look like... im sanding the covers down now and gunna paint them with a black then clear.. i think it will look good. and it will be an easy modd that i havent seen before. im taking pictures be fore and after. so if anyone is intersted in this let me know.
