Goldenchevy,

Which 194 bulbs did you get, the clear or one of the other two.

hurry up with those pics. ;D

I just replaced my bulbs with blue bulbs not the led's will this make it a lot more brighter? ???

RON

I am using the 194 blue led they have 4 leds in each light they are pretty bright...but blue is inherently dark. It is still light here 1 more hour sorry.
GC

one more thing...they look blue not baby blue like the slip on crap or the painted incandescents. I guess you can describe them as brilliant instead of bright.

here are the pics...I'm new at this group stuff so tell if there are any problems.

Hey! I like the hood scoops, where did you get them? The blue led's are cool also, I was thinking about getting the amber DRL led lights.

Dave

I was thinking of amber...but the blue adds a nice contrast in colors. The hhod scoop came with av...dealer installed...I asked and they said they didn't know exactly who puts them on. oh well sorry.

Did you use 194 bulbs for everything? Those in the overhead roof light are torpedo shaped and do not look like 194's. Please post numbers for each recepticle. Thanks!

Goldenchevy,
I dig the blue led's...this IS my next mod. Can you please post the part numbers for each application?? Thanks...BTW...the hoodscoop is AWESOME

The driver maplight are 194's and you just pop out the lens with a small flathead. The passenger maplights and courtesytlight (3) are 211-2 or just but the torpedo shaped ones at 41mm's...same thing. Just pop the overhead plastic cover with a flathead. The door courtesy lights(4) are 194's if you put the 4 bulb leds like i did a minor amount of trimming is required(very minor). These take a little finesse to pry out...i just used a small flathead and coaxed the receptacle out. The interior at night is sweet. A very intense blue with leds...don't use painted bulbs( just my .02) The outside puddle lights are 211-2 like the interior lights. These you will have to pry out gently with a flathead. If you guys use red or amber post the look...i'll post some more of mine.

Hi guys well the lights look great man.. I was wondering how is it that you post pics on the board? what program do you use? how do u make thoses links under your name?? thanks for the info...

GoldenChevy,
After inspecting the location of the bulbs I have a few questions if you (of anyone)don't mind answering.

1. The driver bulbs...after prying off the lens how did you remove the bulbs?
2. The door bulbs...did you pry out the casing with the bulbs inside or did you remove the door panel??
3. The 211 bulb (torpedo as you called it)...you said 41mm...on the website (http://www.superlumination.com/leds.htm) I only saw 44mm or 39mm...which ones did you order??

Thanks for you help.
-Lew

the driver maplights after you get the lens off, carefully pry out the reflector, after the reflector is out you can pull the bulb out with a little coaxing. I have very fat fingers so you will have no problem pulling the bulb out.
the doorpanel lights should just pry out with the help of a flathead...just take you time it will come out...the whole light casing.pry around the whole casing gently. once out firmly pull on the light recepticle...there is no release button just pull on the light receptacle were the wires enter. once out the bulb can be pulled out the socket.
I'm sorry...i must of hit 41mm instead of 44mm. the 44mm are the ones you want.

If it will help, most of these identical bulbs are 1/2 the price if you go to superbrightleds.com I use them and they are high quality. Best thing about them besides awesome looks is No Heat. Oh yes, does anybody know how to get that bulb out of a 2003 glovebox without removing the entire glovebox?

 Just talked with Chris Bacon the owner of www.superlumination.com and he said he would match and beat the prices at www.superbrightleds.com. He also said that he was starting a new website called www.discountleds.com were the prices were lower that www.superbrightleds.com. Just passing along the info. he said the new website would be ready tomorrow.
GC

Goldenchevy,
Tomorrow as in Sunday or tomorrow as in Monday.

Thanks for the new info. I am going to check out discountleds site as soon as I can. I am taking the painted bulbs out and replacing them with the led's.

Thanks again,
RON

For the Festoon Dome 6-Led Bulbs (Blue), they are more expensive then www.superbrightleds.com.

It is $3.49 on www.discountleds.com
and It is $3.29 on www.superbrightleds.com

Also, for the WLED-B Blue LED bulb, it is the same price for both sites.

Goldenchevy, if you can contact him about this, it would be great.

Thanks
