I thought my WBH looked so naked standing beside the cladded ones at GTG's that I decided to give it a little dressing. Not to much, just enough to make it stand out a little. What do you think?

Here is another shot of it. I had it made out of the black reflective material so it changes color depending on what type of light hits it. In the shade its black, in the sunlight it is more gold colored and at night it reflects back white.

Looks real good! ;D (y) ;D

I want to do this to my WBH. I have access to a plotter and am able to make my own decals, however...

Its my buddies equipment and he likes to have the stuff ready to print, so he can slide it through in between important stuff.

Does anyone have the avalanche logo that is cleaned up enough to be used to print/cut (or at least very good). I could make one by scanning and then cleaning it up, but I figured someone on here has to have it. That could save me a lot of time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I had them custom made at a local sign shop. I had gotten a estimate from Tribal but he was almost double what the local sign shop did them for and there was no $9.00 shipping to pay. They used the black reflective material so that when you look at it in shade it looks black, in the sunlight it reflects back gold and at night it reflects back white. Kinda neet. Any way thanks for the kind words.

I can say that I'm not a big fan of the "naked" av, BUT, I like what you have done. Deffinately a good sense of originality with it. Good job, nice mod!!!!!

Did your local sign shop have the Avalanche fonts available or did they design the logo from scratch? I have a friend who owns a sign shop and I have been thinking about some custom logos but I haven't found a True type Font or the equivalent to work from.

Saw your truck at Butch's and must say the decal looks much better in person than in the photos. Quite nice to put a little clothing on the naked body ;D ;D

Yeah nice looking add on.... makes you wonder what other areas of the av might do with some 'signage'.

I really like the idea of the reflective stuff changing colour too. (y)

I found the true type font by searching through the message boards. I foget exactly who made it. I sent it to my friend who makes cycle decals but he hasn't gotten back to me yet as to if it will work or not for a big decal.

If anyone needs the font, email me. jrkimmel@comcast.net

JETMECH,
It looks great   By the way, what type of running boards are those on your Avy?
