Bose conversion for non Bose 2003 Avy

Try to use a 03-06 speaker

Here in a couple weeks ill have the complete bose system for sale out of my 03 avy. Includes 6 disc radio, amp, 6 speakers, and the subwoofer with its enclosure.
System works fine just wanting to upgrade

Im not sure. But from looking on ebay. Id probably let it go for $350 obo for all of it.

Just make an offer of what you think its worth because id rather just get it out of my way after i get it out

And just so you know the only problem i know of from using it for the past year is some of the color is flaked off some of the buttons and every now and then you have to hit eject 2-3 times to eject one of the disc but it only did it to me a time or 2 but other than that it works perfect

I am only interested in upgrading the speaker system. Would you consider breaking your system up and sell just the speakers?

I do understand more about the location of the pillar tweeters, but not sure how they would get wired/connected to the head unit.

The tweeters are on the same circuit with the front doors speaker, they have a cutoff so just the voice comes out of them

Before I change the speakers I realize on the current system only the right rear and left from door speakers are working. Anyone have any suggestions? Fade control and balance functions work on the head unit??????

I took the left rear door panel off and found that the wires to the speaker were attached. Still no sound from the speaker. How can I test the circuit  to find out if the speaker has died (if that is possible)? Is it at all possible that a speaker can just stop working or am I looking for a break in the wiring from the head unit. Where do the wires run after the pillar plastic? Do I need to take the plastic cover off that runs along the front door? The other speaker not working is the right front door. When I set the fade control to the front and adjust the balance to the right, I can hear very faintly the tweeter so some of the wiring is connected. Could this be another door speaker that has just stopped working? I am obviously very confused about how to go about troubleshooting the system. HELP!

You can try swapping the rear speaker with one from the front. Or if you have a spare speaker use it. Maybe even run a wire from the amp directly to the rear speaker

Ok thanks for the help. Can you tell me where the wires are initially located to get from the rear speakers to the dash? Are they under the front sill plates?

I'm  pretty sure they are under the sills, you can pull the B-pillar covers off and trace them
