Bose Sub 2005

I have read that the Bose system is mounting a sub in the center console, can the sub be put into the 04's console, would it need its own amp? Does any one know what size they are putting in there and where it is mounted? Just purchased my 04, couldn't wait for 05 with the rebates being offered.
 
You don't have one now?

Mine always had a woofer in the console; it's part of the "Premium" and "Luxury" Bozo systems!

As for it going "SUB" sonic, I doubt it!

If you have the Bozo 6-disk, you have the woofer.
Now, whether yours works, I wouldn't know that... ???
 
I didn't relize that the 04 came with the sub, I have searched all over for the info and couldn't find any thing except that they were putting it in the 2005. I had even asked the dealer, but they seem to not know much about the truck anyway.

Turn the volume and base way up, then go to the passenger side and stick your fingers up around the extreme front of the console next to the floor. You can feel the bass wind coming out of the chamber. It's not much of a sub, but it's better than no sub at all.
 
I have 2003 Boze 6 disk...  please help me use my amplifier 300w..


WHO SELLS THE AD AN AMP ADAPTER?
 
Don't know how or why but  I am very happy with the sound quality in Interplanet Janets 2004.  For some reason my 2005 sounds more like what you would expect from a factory install :9:
