Coordinating-AV-Man-of-details & facts-will-enrich-you-soon!

Wait, what is that, do I feel tremors already >:D

Ahh, perhaps you do feel the tremors >:D
So, people want to know what's going on
Dates, huh :0:

I think people should be keeping April 28th through May 1st, 2005 clear on their calendars. ;)

I'm sure more details will be coming. The suspense is building.

Your man in the know,
'da EQ

Mo and Mike.....can you make two trips to Cincinnatti in 2005?

The numbers are looking good! I see Tennessee in the lead! Followed closely by Kentucky then Georgia.

I've heard your questions as to lodging and I am looking into that. Currently I have 2 hotels that are in the running. The most likely one will be the Travelodge. Now before you say "ewww the Travelodge", I have to say that this is a nice hotel on the inside. I have personally been in a room and was very pleasantly surprised. They have the best parking lot arrangement in town as well as the most meeting space inside the hotel. Their base rates were also very good. I have been in contact with their Group Coordinator and things look promising. The one issue with Travelodge is they have a contract pending on whether or not they remain a Travelodge. The negotiations will be final around January 15th. I'm being sent some information in the meantime and have assurance that we are priority on the top of their list on the dates of the event.

Also working with the folks at the Corvette Museum to see what they are willing and able to do for us. Should hear more next week.

As a little enticement...there will be a trophy that will go to the state that brings the most Avalanches to this meet. I invision this being a rotating trophy, that could pass to another State in following years. This trophy would be held by the State Coordinator until their state is unseated.

Just spent a few minutes, trying to figure out if something was in the 2nd post that wasnt in the first... ;D

Hotel room, who spends time in the hotel room??
( Hmm forgot about my dehydration stay at STI)

Since we just had veterans day, I suggest moving anyone in the service, whether current or discharged, to the top of the list!

I'll start with Randy, but others attendees should let me know Who our Veterans are...except MurmanZ71.

Hey Intimidatoruag,

Yes, I've had 4 regals, 2 Turbocharged and 1 Supercharged >:D The last Turbo was an '87 GN (stock - except for a little mod thingy having to do with the fuel governor >:D ) and I miss mine to this day as well. It was one of the last 100 built when they cranked up the assembly line in 10/87 for a second run due to high orders. Hoping I can afford another someday, I miss the GSCA. Of course a GNX would be ok too >:D >:D but averaging 35K for a soon to be 20 year old car probably ain't gonna happen for me anytime soon. I think we both need to get another what do you say? Can you help me convince my better half ;D

Tinman and EQ - Is there anyway we might be able to get Beech Bend raceway for the event? I know we have quite a few perfomance oriented members who would love to have at it. Depending on the # attending, maybe we could all cover the cost. Just a thought.

David
