Yes 'tis....Wanna go! I would like to see it part of the schedule if they're racing that weekend (oval or drag). I would think they would be... Do we have someone in the area close by that could coordinate for us? If not, I'll try to do whatever I can on the phone to verify their late spring schedule & negotiate a good deal for us. If we really only go with a three day schedule for the GTG, it would have to be able to mesh with other events planned (which I don't know about yet). As for me, I'm planning on more than three days - probably be there by Wednesday. ;)

I'm certainly up for the Corvette Museum, but was really hoping this would end up with a tour of the factory. I think that would be really cool to see how the C6's are made. Think that would be possible?

That would be me ;D

Beech Bend - already a consideration. I have information on them and will be contacting them soon.

Corvette Museum & Assembly Plant Tour - Museum is a no brainer, we'll be there. Assembly plant tour is normally closed on weekends, which is one reason that this event will be happening on Friday. I am in contact with the event coordinator at the Museum who is use to handling clubs. They are sending me some info this next week and I will be reviewing it to see how/what they will do for us. :B:

Sounds great! .....Screw April, lets start next weekend ;) If we can do both the museum and the factory, I'll be ecstatic, overjoyed, achieved fulfillment...you get the idea ;D

Please bring some Gaspars linguica with you also ;D

Not much new to tell yet.  We have a plan working with the Corvette museum which will allow attendees to get into the museum at any point during our meet plus a few special trinkets.

I plan to get a little more serious about the other events once we've got the hotel confirmed, which will be in about 2 weeks.  ;)

Maybe winter will be tough enough I can get my wife to go for a short jog south for May Day ? It should be warming up there. I'd love to see the Vette Museum, I did see alot of '53s for the Corvette homecoming here in '03 before we knocked down the building the '53 Vettes were built in. I worked in that building in '03, (training I got paid for so I call it work).

Mdz66, you are lost in the archives and I am not sure that Tinman will see this.
