BowTies On Center Caps

I know many people have painted the outline of the BowTies on their center caps. I was going to paint mine too, but was not crazy about the thought of screwing up the outline. Then the thought hit me, Decal! I took one of the caps off and brought it into a place that makes custom decals in the area. I gave them the cap and told the guy that I wanted the decal to fit just in the outline of the bowtie. He punched it up on the computer and it was a little to big. He played with it some more, and got it to fit into the outline perfect. He then made me up 7 of them to match the blue of the truck. They fit perfect, and have been on there for about 8 months. No peeling or fadeing yet. No masking, and I can take them off with no problem. People have noticed them, and ask how I painted them so straight. Real cheap and easy mod if you have a guy to work with to get it right.

I don't understand, what kind of decal is it that you can take off whenever you want?

I talked with a guy at DecalCenter and he said Chevy would not let him make one that small. If this guy can I might be interested.
