Here is my question for everyone out there.? And I will really appreciate all your comments.

My 2002 has factory Delco CD Stereo and Factory Speakers.

For 4 years it has been enough for me.

Now I want something different...but the stereo is fine and the four speakers in the doors are good.? So I can keep those. just make it a little louder and crisper.

I want a loud very crisp boom.? Exspecially when I crank up my GNR, Ozzie, AC/DC, Metallica, Godsmack, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Van Halen, Musica Tipica de Panama, etc...

I only want to spend $500.00 or less on equipment to make this work and I do not want to lose my bed space nor my under seat space.

Can anyone one help me on what I need for a set up that I want?

Thank you very much.

If you?re going to keep the OEM setup my might want to look into something like a powered amp.? Bazooka come to mine.? You can get a 1? setup for WAY less then 500

BTW you?re not leaving yourself many options with this comment.  Might want to look into an inverted sub setup.  Clarion make an ultra thin called the Phase 1 SRV303

have you read about the PAC-OEM GM24? I can't remember if it will work on the '02 systems or not. I bought one a while back and just haven't got around to hooking it up yet.  :E:

on 2nd thought... I saw something in a Best Buy sales paper about a complete system for $499. I will see if I can find it again...

ooooooooo Have BESTBUY credit card will travel.....

sorry for all the posts, but I keep thinking of other things.. might want to be careful how big of an amp you put on OEM stereo. Will probably blow head unit after a while of cranking a big system. just an FYI

Going with that setup you?re going to lose bed space IMO and you need to look closely at the sales at Best Buy.  Not all systems will sound better than what you have
