My sad ABS story. ABS light came on in my 2005 Avalanche 1500 4WD. I pulled the codes and found C0265 and C0267. I pulled the ABS module off and sent it to Module Master for $150. (I have history with them from my Passat and they did a nice job) Once I got the ABS module back I installed it and reset the codes but they came back on. Talked to Module Master and sent it back to them mostly at their expense. Got the module back a 2nd time, installed it, reset the codes and this time only C0265 came on, but the Brake light also came on. I've been communicating with the module master tech and he had me check the 2 wire plug (by the bigger plug on the ABS module) for 12V. Well there is no voltage there. I've checked the 60a ABS fuse and its OK. Not sure what other fuses could be involved. I've sent another note off to Module Master's tech to see what he says. I've also been reading the forum here to gain some knowledge and insight. Knowing what I know about the missing voltage I'm pretty much ready to take it to my mechanic to get the truck back on the road (it's only been about 5 weeks). Hoping someone sees this and can offer some advise.

Had this problem and rebuilt the module myself, did not fix problem. Turns out the front wheel bearing was on it's way out and the metal shavings were clogging the ABS sensor. New wheel hub came with a new sensor line and the ABS light went out.

My Truck is fixed!!! Since there was no voltage on the ABS plug I went back and checked the 60A fuse again. There was voltage on the fuse but also did a continuity check on the fuse and it was open. Had to really look hard at the fuse to see the open. Swapped it with the fuse next to it and the ABS and parking lights are off. Reset the codes and all is good.
