Brake controller

Hello fellow members long time since we chatted was a member back when I had my 2003 ..I upgraded back in 2013 and still going strong with 105k... I since bought a enclosed trailer and am towing on weekends with my av and looking to install a brake controller..now I like to keep everything on my truck someone stock looking so I looked into the oem brake controller and a knee bolster ..the only thing I was missing was the pig tail for the oem controller...I visited my dealer to order and said I can order it but I wont work u will burn it out...but its oem..and the wire are under my dash for a controller....that's for a aftermarket one...so that's my question...oem ?. Or aftermarket trailer brake controller??

Hey man. I got an 07' model and I do alot of hauling with it. I had to put a new motor so I put a 6.0 with a bigger cam and got rid of flex fuel crap and I LOVE IT. But I seen ur towing brake question and I put a Reese brand and it works great

Thanks..I still got my 5.3 but I got long tube tube headers and high flow cars so i got lots of top end for towing. I dont do much hauling but i know its there... i like the prodigy p3...will see...maybe mount in the glovebox for a cleaner look...
