I suppose it barks with excitement too?

If you all are really nice I may even show my wiener around.

That's for you, Karl.
I'll put you down on the food list for hot dogs then. >:D

I'm planning on being there +3.  Any hotel info?
Not yet. Plenty of hotels in the area and some people that bring pets like to look around for pet friendly hotels. We used to stay at the Country Inn and Suites right in St. Peters but they quit honoring any discounts for the Carlton chain for that weekend. Nice place but it can be pricey. I just checked last night and for the 3 mights we would be there it would be about $325. I'm a cheap skate when it comes to something like that as we don't spend much time in the room. Nice breakfast bar though and if you're have 4 people in your group the breakfast savings alone do make it a nice deal as you don't have to spend money somewhere else for breakfast.
Others use whatever points they have with whatever chain they like to get a deal.

DouglasOak and his wife work for a hotel chain and can get a nice discount for any hotel in the area within that chain they work for.

So thre isn't a particular hotel everyone stays at?  This is my first time there.
We used to all pretty much stay at the same place. I'll check around and see if I can dig one up.

With all the bragging, I figure the truth must be closer to mini-smokies!

My wife is looking as well, she called Fairfield Inn and they are booked.

If we can get a rough number of how many rooms are needed I can work with Choice Hotels for either a group rate if we have enough rooms or can go a different way if we only need a couple of rooms. Try to post up this weekend as to how many rooms are needed, so I can work on rooms Monday Tuesday. (Monday is a Civic Holiday in Canada)

Below are the 3 nearest Choice Hotels, although I am not sure about the quality of the Rodeway.

That Sleep Inn doesn't look too bad. The other Quality Inn in downtown St. Charles might be nice too including the full breakfast included.

We'll be there for three night. Getting there Fri and leaving Monday.

We just might be bringing along a little something to keep us busy in the Mo hills on Saturday if the weather is looking good.

two nights for me but then I'm not on the attending or maybe list for some reason  :needhug:
which list do we need to add you to? I don't remember seeing you say that you're coming.

Guess we'll be at the Red Roof Inn.  The wife was able to get a room there for the weekend.  We should be getting there Saturday and leaving on Monday.

For the food list -- put me down for Jack Stack baked beans.

Nope, sorry.

So, you have any updated totals? Been so busy at work I don't get to follow along on FB anymore.

Got off the wagon for a few months... started back up due to a contest at work.  First weigh in for work was the 22nd, second weigh in was the 29th, lost 29lbs in the first week, total since Spring 2012 is 85.

Post up before Tuesday Aug 6, so I can work on some discount rooms.  (y)
