Bratfest X !!

I've been checking the weather reports to figure out if I want to wash the 'vette before Sunday.  Right now they are saying 90% chance of rain here so I may not be bothering with it on Saturday...

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
 
Looks like 21 peeps give or take so figure enough of whatever you're bringing for 25 and we should be safe.

Also thinking about a Sat night dinner somewhere. If we get it figured out, I'll post it up :wave:

DirtyGirl and I were hoping to have our Passports renewed in time to get to this great GTG, we both had an AVesome time last year.

I'm pumped! Gonna bring the camping chairs and plenty of beer. We have to leave at 2:00 but plan to be there around 10:00. This is always a great time.
 
It did last time - I recall plugging in my non-battery equipped laptop.  However this shelter is much farther from the parking lot than the one we've used most of the time.

This was my 4th Bratfest and I love coming each year! I know I don't say much, but I really dig the company. Thanks for having me and the boys out this year!  :love: :B:

Glad you guys could make it again this year. :wave:  Pass along to your wife our wishes of good luck with the upcoming arrival of your daughter and also once again I need to compliment your boys on their outstanding manners!  (y)
 
Made it home in record time this year. 8hrs 45 minutes. Not bad considering we had the pup with us. Only 2 rest stops and one for gas. We ate on the fly so we didn't have to deal with any fast food or sit down places.

Thanks for all that came out and made Bratfest X a good time. I didn't get any pix, I know there's some floating around on some cell phones out there.  :cheers:
 
Had fun. Thanks for the help on the tailgate mod.  We made it home without a problem. Will be taking the truck in tomorrow to get looked at though.

Glad you made it home without a problem.  Your engine wasn't sounding too healthy - I was worried you might not get it back home.

Ouch! So what are the details?

Maybe you could at least consider looking on the bright side of things and take the opportunity to upgrade to a 6.0 if you have to do it.
 
Not sure I have time to figure out the upgrade.  This is my daily driver and I need it fixed ASAP.  I'm waiting on a second opinion. 
 
We'll took it to another shop.  They weren't as quick to say the engine is bad.  I called them for an update and he wanted more time to diagnose.  He should call me tomorrow to tell me what he thinks.
