  • frame damage straightened:

  • hood, fenders, doors repainted and clearcoated:

  • bumper cover, impact bar, all bumper brackets replaced:

  • left foglight/DRL housing replaced:

  • "rear end groan" fixed:

Everything was completed today, including a groaning sound which I thought was coming from the rear-end. Turned out to be a loose/misadjusted transmission shield (skid plate?). The service tech loosened it, adjusted it back to factory location/specifications, tightened it back up, and the groan was gone.

Now all I'm waiting for is an early morning wheel alignment and my insurance company to send the final authorization papers so that my dealer can release the vehicle to me.

Woo-hoo!

Congrats Brendan!!! Glad to hear you are getting your AV back!!!!

Now can you do something about getting the Chief all fixed up too

GOT IT BACK!!!

Of course, it was a rainy, dark Oregon day, so I couldn't really tell much under the gallon of water droplets, but the bumper is tear-free, the paint "looks" better, and they even completey detailed the interior. The leather, steering wheel, console, dash, and doors are all nice and shiny-new again!

Woo-hoo!

Brendan

Hi Brendan, I finally fell across the photo's of the damage..Oouch!! Happy to see you have your baby back and you can get out of that little red thing. ;D

Now, with all this drama having been public knowledge...don't try selling your Av on this site...I don't think you would have much luck! :-X :-X ;D
