One of our AV owners got pulled over and ticketed... Can you believe it? And... we got it all on film.

I take it that everything went fine. It looks like you had a bunch of AV's show up. How many ended up shows?

The Av on the Cop car looked great i now have it as my desktop pic. LOL

So what was the mini-AV charged with anyway? It didn't drive over the police car until after it got the ticket so it couldn't have been for that. Expired Registration? Wreckless Driving? Failure to Signal?

I hope it didn't get towed, it would make all of the other cars in the police impound lot jealous!

We didn't have any donuts so the pizza had to suffice.

Congrats to the SoCal Av'ers for participating in a Toys For Tots event that helped kids at Christmas time! It was a great opportunity for us all to get together and have some fun and to contribute a little something to kids who are less fortunate and deserve a better life. If we could give them 10 minutes of joy then it was all worth it.

And special thanks to those that helped make it possible - the CHP and the officer who was such a good sport and put up with our shenanigans - Bob for getting the CHP to come by and collect the donated toys, Cindy, Ken, Lenny and Gary for planning it and to everyone who participated.

Thanks everyone! Next year I hope we can get a much larger turnout and a much larger collection of toys for the kids.

Be happy it happened to you out there and not in Cincinnati. Here the police give you a Bengals ticket for traffic incidents. If you are found guilty in court you have to use the ticket.

I take resentment to that-
We here in Ohio are fun, loving and great officers-
We are cautious at first (personal saftey) and once we know were safe then were col to play around-
