Buy in December or January

Hi folks; I just registered today although I have been lurking around for awhile. Seems like a nice place you have here...

Anyway, I've read a few threads about the great deals in December, but am curious if anyone has any insight on whether December is really the best time to buy, or whether historically the January promotions are better. I am not a GM supplier, so I have to be smart about this...

Welcome to the club!!!!

I'm not sure what the rebates will be like after the first of the year. That would be one of my conerns if I had the choice.
Hopefully one of the GM guru's here can answer the question on purchase history. I would guess that either month is good to buy since most people will be busy paying off debt from the holidays and most dealers will be anxious to sell a vehicle.
Do you plan on buying new? If so, then rebtes play a huge factor.

i would not wait too long. you may miss out on the one you want. then again if you think you are getting a good deal at the moment there will almost always be a better you wished you would have waited for. it's your decision.
