I am really proud to announce a special deal through BedSlide that is going to knock your socks off. The folks at BedSlide have worked with CAFCNA to come up with a CAFCNA Edition BedSlide XL that has the features you want at a price that can't be beat.

The standard BedSlide XL comes with:

* Black painted aluminum deck
* 3/4" plywood CDX 5-ply deck with indoor/outdoor carpeting

The unit usually costs $699 and you have to pay for frieght.

The CAFCNA Edition BedSlide XL comes with:

* Black powder-coated finish
* TufDec - marine grade 3/4" 7-ply laminated top
* 1/4" removable rubber mat
* Chrome BedSlide and CAFCNA Limited Edition logos

That's right - you've asked for powder-coating, TufDec, removable mat, and the folks at BedSlide have heard your requests.

How much?

$699 with free shipping in the lower 48.

hummm I might want one I am not sure right yet but that is great that you got the CAFCNA Editon that is really cool

I would really like one of these... the missus is only a shade over 5'4" and I know that she is going to have comments about the height of the tailgate. :rolleyes:

Any idea how much the system weighs?
This was noted on another thread.
The Bedslide is about 156 lbs (may be a little more since I believe this was the quoted weight for the standard Bedslide, and this one seems to have a few extras.)

For reference, the CargoPro (available from one of the Partners) is supposed to be a little over 80 lbs.

I just ordered this by utlilizing the link and was charged $80.00 for shipping to Illinois. I still believe this is a good buy, but you might want to inform people that shipping might be extra. The shipping charge does not appear until the order has been fully processed. Up to that point it reflects free shipping.

Andy - please call BedSlide at (88:cool: 807-0099 ASAP. ?You are not suppose to be charged shipping. ?They set up the special link this morning so maybe when they configured it there was a bug. ?Again call them - shipping is free it is in the agreement between BedSlide and CAFCNA (I negotiated the deal).

This unit has a shipping weight of 163 pounds.

this is great!! Just wished I had the money to spend right now :cry:

I e-mailed bedslide yesterday afternoon concerning the shipping charge for this product. I received a response from Keith at Bedslide this morning. Keith informed me that there is NO SHIPPING charge for this product. Since Bedslide charges shipping for their other products it was added to this product when the order is placed through their website. Bedslide is working on having their website changed to remove the shipping charge.

Thanks to Chief for negotiating this deal and Bedslide for the quick response to my question and a fine product. This made my Fat Tuesday.

i have had the BedSlide on my list since the first day i saw it. now this special club edition souds real sweet. can we get pics of it. i will be ordering one instead of the HID's for sure. this may also hurt my 22in wheel purchase. the wheels are not going anywhere though. ;D

? did that shipping thing work itself out yet? ???

Yes - he posted about three or four posts up that when he called they say whoops, refunded and tuned the web pages. (y)

I just ordered a BedSlide last night and the link still added the shipping charges on. Guess I'll call the number provided above to have it taken off.

Man what a great deal - I am definately gonna have to save my money for this one! :)
Got any close up picks of the unit showing the CAFCNA Edition logo?

If you're looking for pics of the logo they haven't built them yet - I know we could ask. Guess I could ask them to expedite the test unit and take pics also. Let me know what pics you are looking for and I'll make it happen. ;D

i was just curious as to what the new finish looked like. where the CAFCNA logo will be? what color will the logo be? what the TufDec top looks like? just stuff like that. thanx.

Does the bedslide lock in the extended position?

Is it possible to set up an Av Tent with the bedslide in the extended position?

Something to consider. I have the bed slide with the grey carpet. Stuff does not slide and bang around with the carpet. There are plywood, and duraliner covers also. I sell bedslides, and have sold all models except this new one. I still think the carpet is the best if you want looks and function. As per "timcosco"s question. The bed slide will lock in the full out position, and can be made to lock in any position you may want by drilling a hole. I can't tell you about the tent situation, but the bed slide has a lip on the front to keep things from falling off into the bed when you pull it back. I think it would interfer with the camping set up.

Ya, I'd have to say that the Av tent plus any of the cargo loading products just won't mix. Without the Midgate down you don't have enough room to sleep in unless you're very short.

I received the Bedslide this past Friday. ?As promised there was no shipping charge involved. ? It was very easy to install. ?It took longer to take it out of the shipping packaging than to install install it in my Avalanche. ?It is a very nice product. ?The only issue is if you are expecting a "cool" CAFCNA logo on the slide do not hold your breath. ?The end of the slide has the Avalanche logo in large silver lettering, the Bedslide logo, ?then in small, silver lettering CAFCNA Limited Edition. ?My CAFCNA designation was missing some of the lettering so I ended up removing the entire designation. ?Otherwise it would look like:
C F NA ?L m t d ?Ed ? on.
I will try to borrow a digital camera to post pictures.

How does this compare to the CargoPro?
The cargopro seems like it have better construction but you loose a lot of storage room do to how high it sits.
