Ugh... we would love to go, but I don't have weekends off anymore which makes it impossible to do anything.
I hate missing these events!

I hate to press the issue, but who is going from the Fresno area on Saturday? I am going to be leaving from Coarsegold at about 7am. So I could meet up with the south of Fresno folks in Madera and the Sacto folks someplace up by them. I don't know the Sacto area that well so pick a spot close to I-80. It always look AWESOME, when a line of Avalanches pull into a place.

To the best of my knowledge there are now only 2 Avs from the Bay and Sacto areas going to the GTG

I am leaving Thursday and Dboss is leaving Friday
 
also...looking at the attending list...I see nobody from fresno or south of fresno
 
Traffic Advisory

If you are coming via I-80 expect slower than normal road conditions due to road construction

There are a few uneven lane conditions once in the hills starting about 20-40 miles west of Truckee and a couple of single lane conditions due to resurfacing

Once you reach Truckee the single lane conditions get worse and expect to take approx 1 hour from Truckee to Reno even though it is downhill

Westbound out of Reno is a NIGHTMARE (or it was on Thursday) lots of single lane up the hill to Truckee with stop and go climbing the hill with tractertrailers and cars bumper to bumper at about 5 mph all the way from Reno into Truckee where it seemed to finally lighten up

If you are coming up Friday...we leave the Hotel at 10AM and are going a back route into Donner

From Reno we are taking 395 North to 70 West into Vinton
Then 49 South into Sierraville
Then 89 South into Truckee
Then 80 West into Donner

Well FRACK, I knew about the distruction, I hit it coming in to Cali last week, but it was a Monday afternoon. I forget that you have traffic out here on the weekends. Ebbets Pass is just as slow because of the road. Well I guess I am going to be spending a lot of time looking at bumpers.

Which Walkie talkie freqeuncy are you all going to be on? Or some other way to contact you all when I get there?
