I received a pamphlet last week from a local Chevy dealer, explaining how they are a Callaway dealer too.  So I did a little research and discovered that Callaway can modify the Avalanche into a 450hp rocket.  With - apparently - no loss in fuel economy.  All for the suggested price of about $17K.

Has anybody ever done this?  I certainly can't, but it must be the most amazing mod you could ever do...  But $17K??!!

that is the full package..

If you want the power only based on the build and price it looks to be around $7,000 for the S/C, Motor work and Tune.

Add the high pro brakes and suspension to the mix and that $17K become $30K real fast..

It appears to be to be pretty comparable to what I have seen, similar mods to a Chrysler/Dodge SRT is about $30K (forced induction, motor work, high-flo injectors, intake, exhaust, tune, brakes, suspension, etc)

I worked for GSM and NuFormz Racing for several years as a Mopar Tech (side job to my full gig as a Dealership Tech) and the pricing was very similar..

The only thing that really stands out to me is the 3/36 warranty, no other forced induction product I am aware of offers that.

Back in the day I had a 1985 Callaway VW GTI. It had a turbo/intercooler package that made that little 4 cylinder engine crank out some serious horsepower.
Mine was a project car that Reeves built for VWoA, and was featured on the cover of Porcshe/VW magazine smoking the front tires off.
The engine revved faster than it could be shifted; hence the rev limiter was always kicking in!

A little hood scoop over the IC was a giveaway as to what lurked under the hood, especially when I packed it with dry ice (fog billowed out!) and ran Sunoco Blue,
with the boost dialed up to 14psi. It was unbelievably fast, leaving many muscle cars watching the stainless exhaust pipes get smaller ahead of them. All that and 30mpg!!

I'd love to have that little rocket car back...

They used to make a hell of a Corvette till Steve sold the company.

I want one!!!!!
Keep your eye out. If you know of any specialty dealers, let them know you are looking. Found mine that way. Only 47 made in 2013 and only 3 are registered with Callaway from that year so I know there has to be some out there somewhere! This version has some serious kick!
