I was reading the post about tagging one of the Titans AV. It got me wondering how many AV club member are in TN. Especially Middle TN. I have been in contact with snowlep who's from nashville and I'm from Murfreesboro area. Who else is out there?

I will be in Nashville on friday night 2 AUG. so if you would like to get together and just say hello I would love ot.. I will take photos of us and the truck and write a nice story so chief can have it in the next news letter.....

I'm in Knoxville and so is aVOLanche who lives about 15 miles from me! If you were meeting in Knoxville I could get all of us together on Aug 2nd but Nashville is 2.5 to 3 hours each way...... depending on where you will be meeting. If you come through here let us know! GO VOLS!!! ;D

Here! I'm in Fairview (out toward Dickson). I tagged the Titan! I'd be interested in having some local meetings if there's enough interest.
I've only had an AV for about 3 weeks, but have been reading and posting here for a number of months.
I would have responded to this earlier, but I'm in FL on business and my wife is enjoying the "Beast" as she likes to call it. So, if you see a black Z-71 with Amber DRL's in Brentwood that'd be my wife peering over the steering wheel.

I'm in Tri-Cities (northeast TN), so this weekend would be a little difficult, I do get to Nashville on business every other month, so maybe I could time the next meet if you have another one.
 
Hey it I like the sound of all positive posts. I'm hoping to get together with some of you this weekend if at all possible. I work in the franklin area and I on my daily commute I see many AVs. I think this area might be ripe for a chapter of CAFCNA

Glad to bring this topic back up. I've seen a few Middle Tennesseers around lately and I've tried PMing each of you that I've seen on the boards.

If you're interested in a local club, please sign up on the meetings board and indicate 'Other Cities Not Listed' and Nashville area. We'll get some stuff up and going.

I get down to Cookville Tennessee about four times a year. Our Daughter lives there. I hardly ever see any Avalanches around when I am there and It doesn't seem like the dealers keep many on their lot. If I am there when you guys get somthing together I might join in if thats OK. We camped at Edgar Evins State Park last fall and just loved it!

I'm in Springfield, TN with a Pewter '02 Z66 that I've had for a month.
This club board was extremely helpful in my purchase...thanks to all.
 
I just boughta 2002 loaded avalanche. red. I am in columbia tn. I have the front Avalanche factory brush gaurd I would like to sell. Any takers? rgrayjr@charter.net

Hang on everybody. I'm putting the finishing touches on the first Middle Tennessee Chapter cruise. I think most everyone will be pleased when everything is set. It will be coming up very, VERY soon! I'm trying to keep up with everyone in the area and am in touch with Edward_K, the Memphis Chaper Coordinator. I'll be sending out IM's and emails to everyone that I've seen. If you're interested in joining the Middle Tennessee chapter, please join by going to the 'Meetings' forum and sign up for a local chapter. When prompted chose another city not listed and type in Nashville.
Hope to be posting something official on the cruise in the next few days!

I just found the fan club tonight. I am from the Fayetteville area (just north of Huntsville, AL). We purchased the first 2002 Avalanche on the lot in Fayetteville in July of 2001. Last Wednesday an 18 year old driving on a revoked license pulled out in front of my wife and son. She took the ditch to keep from killing the other person. We were notified this morning that our bright red Avalanche was totaled. I ordered an 03 yellow Z66 replacement this afternoon. It will probably not be delivered in time to make the Lynchburg meeting which is pretty close by.

Welcome to the club! Wow! So sorry to hear about your AV :6: If you can't locate a replacement, check out Serra in Memphis. I was over there for a get together this past weekend and they had a yellow Z-71 (not exactly what you were looking for), but they'd probably make you a deal on it. I hear that it hasn't moved much since they got it a number of weeks ago.
Anyway, I hope none of your family was hurt in the accident.
You're not required to have an AV to come to the upcoming Lynchburg meeting. If you'd like to come, please do!

It's been quite a while since anyone's replied here so I'm thinking it got lost in the shuffle. I'm sure that there are more members in the Middle Tennessee area (Southern Kentucky and Northern Alabama).

Hi Memphiz! Glad to see more from the Volunteer state online.
FYI - we've got a big get together coming up April 30 - May 2 (a week from Tomorrow) at Paris Landing State Park. We're expecting around 30 Avalanches from all over to be there.
