Can HomeLink be added aftermarket?

I was wondering if it is feasible (monetarily) to buy a short (sunroof model) console with HomeLink controls and install it myself.

Is there a remote Transmitter box?

Is the truck pre-wired for this feature?

Any hiccups I might run into that any one could think of?

Any help would be appreciated.
