Ok before you all dog me...I won't be able to go, but I'd like to have a mini GTG with anybody that is head East on I-10 through Tallahassee (where I'm going to school) on the way to Savannah. So far, I have not seen anyone on this thread mention going on 10 but you guys that are going know the various routes of fellow attendees, so hook me up with some names! The Tallahassee Hooters is not too far from I-10 and would be pretty easy to get on and off.
For the guys ^ headed to Savannah from Central Florida ^ may I recommend choosing an alternate roote than through the Daytona, Flagler, and St. Johns Co. Corridor. There is terrible construction going on in this area! One alternate route would be 95 to US-100 through to Palatka, then North on US-17 (which will take you right by PlanetAV) and a Hooters in the Orange Park area. Yes there is construction of some form most of the way to Savannah from Daytona, but this Corridor south of JAX and north of Daytona is very, very dangerous and has fatal wrecks all the time. Just trying to help!

We all understand how being in school limits your time availible to attend
STI-GTG. Thats OK.
Members traveling East I-10 through Tallahassee on October 9th. from TX. or
MS. would be happy to meet you. Check Kim's list of attendees by states and PM those members directly for their caravan schedule. You might PM the greater New Orleans members too. Good to see your interest for STI-GTG.
BTW.....planetav had a ST. Augustine GTG in February. Maybe he can schedule
a greater Jacksonville GTG after the holidays. Hope so.

The wife and I have wanted to see Savannah ever since we read "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". I will of course have to ask the Boss but if she says yes we might join the Texas Caravan.

NC group is meeting FRIDAY morning.
We are heading down I-77 to I-26 in Columbia to meet up with Lanman. I guess that we will take I-26 to I-95 and head into Savannah.
So far we have about 4-5.
Anyone else interested in hooking up?

By my calculations I should arrive around 12 noon or 1:00 PM ish. It looks like about a 17-18 hour trip. If Gandy goes with me I should make better time!

I think we need to get a few more members to join our caravan from the north - via I-75 or along the way to I-16. Orange of course is the color of choice.

Actually, I need to know when the group coming in from Memphis and Nashville will be hitting Chattanooga. That will allow me to know about when we'll get to the Atlanta or Macon area.

We may need to post a schedule somehow. (I've got very little web experience)
Maybe we could post-it like a bus schedule with city estimated arrival times/locations and maybe a roster with who to expect to join the caravan at which point. Or maybe like a sign-up sheet.......
