I took my av in for a vibration in the exhausst somewhere, like a heat shield or something so they said they had to order a part. After getting the wrong part and finally the right one they actually replaced the catalytic converter, saying it was clogged and coming apart. Its like I have a new truck. Performance is way up as well as responsiveness. i didn't even notice the gradual loss of power, but i noticed it when i got it back. i also got the armadillo treatement and its like the day i bought the truck. I only have 18000 miles on it so it you have that vibration sound and noticed a loss of power maybe its time to check the cat.

Did you get any check engine codes from the clogged cat converter? If not, how did the dealer diagnose it? ???

removed exhaust system and found clogged catand rattling cat. Dont know it they found any codes but nothing showed up on dash.

are you still under warrenty? They didn't charge you eh?

CC is warrentied for 8 years 80k miles. Had mine replaced recently aswell. Made a nice difference.

Very surprised you didn't get a code...hmmm...

Mud!

Still under warrenty but this took 3 visits and last one took 5 days because they found rear main seal leaking. Han a tahoe for rental and it had the 4.8 which felt peppier than the 5.3 in the av. Now i know why.
