I want to change the 6x139.7 bolt pattern to a 5x120

reason being, i want to use the wheel and trier setup i bought for the Rang Rover SvR on my AV.  I mean i paid 3k for them and hate the idea of trying to sell them.

anyone have ideas where and how to do this  ???  I have been looking online but cannot seem to find a website with the right solution

yeah but pushes wheels out so depends on tires size and backspacing...

Plus do not overload avy if you do as them things scare the engineering brain I have.

i'd like to change out the wheel hub but cannot find anything that would work :E:

Wheel hubs are on the axles.. well in the rear..

but... if BRAVE... remove them and have existing studs remove.
And drilled for this new pattern offset from the old and new studs installed... which means you need to find a GOOD machine shop that can find existing Center and drill new pattern within a few 0.001 to 0.003 of this center so wheel runs true.

ANd if really crazy you could have existing stud holes welded up and machined the face flat again....

GEt crazy man!.... or sell the wheels and stay stock....or buy new ones..

yup, think that is what I'M going to have to do, sell the ones I bought for the RRS and buy new ones

So after some thoughts, i'm going to go forward with trying the conversion but I need some help...

what is the stud diameter/thread size on the OEM hub

NOt sure the Bolt Circle but check this section as someone has had to ask before...

PS you crazy for trying this...

No knowledgeable tire shop will touch that with a 10' pole once you convert it over to 5 lugs.

Your sacrificing safety for convenience.

I had problems getting shops putting 1500 tires onto a 2500 rim. I had to sign a waver that said I would never use them on a larger truck and showed them what I was doing. They STILL were hesitant.

Please sell the rims and get something made for your heavy beast.

The setup was on my '15 RRS SVR that was about the same weight and it was running 5 lugs

but I will still give this some more thought (y)

that's what I found but wanted to confirm.....Thanks and it matches the SVR's

Now to confirm the center bore.  The SVR was 72.6 and I think the AV is 78.1.  If that is true, then the rims will not fit :E:

Death when a wheel goes flying off down the road leaving you running on 3.....

Go help the economy man...

Sell those things and buy something with the sell money.

You have a towing capacity, payload capacity, size of the studs. All that stuff to take into account.  Will the studs on this spacer be as strong?

It is YOUR truck, you do what you want... But make sure before you do that to make sure you can do it safely. A range rover has no where near the bed payload of our trucks. You lose a wheel at highway speeds, At a minimum your going to stop dead in the middle of the highway with no way to move it until a tow truck comes. At worst you flip the truck multiple times...  Get into an accident where you modified the wheels to be weaker than factory and they determine it is a factor then you could be in for some serious lawsuits that your insurance won't cover because you modified your equipment. So be very careful when doing such things. Personally, not me... I do any modifying it will be to make things stronger... :)

Thank you everyone for the feedback. Im not going through with this. Just need to try and sell them  now.....or later.....eventually haha

Update;  Sold the wheels and picked up some Hankook tires (y)  I will get new wheels down the road.
