Yep, indexed again. Keep an eye on it. I will see if I can work some magic. It is a game to keep it up there. But hey, at least we are no longer on page 6...

Hello everyone, I just wanted to come on and say sorry for not being around.  :needhug:. I have been slammed at work and my AV was hit on the side by a Harley that thought it was a good idea to pass on the right, (while Carrie was turning right!) It has been in the shop for almost 4 weeks. (My wife fell in love with the 2010 Tahoe we had rented. :E:). I am hoping to get the AV back for the Railroad cruise on the 6th, but if not we'll still come down to say hi.

Great to hear from you Kyle! Sucks about your AV. I assume since it was a bike that Carrie is OK. I hope the bike rider is. I hope you can swing by the GTG. It will be great to see you guys again!

Ok Utah group. It is time to put together the brain trust.
Here is my symptom:
When I hit a small bump in the truck, the steering wheel shakes uncontrollably until I slow down. Then it continues just fine.
Here is what I have done:
1. Greased the tie-rods and control arms. NOPE
2. Read several articles on the issue. HELPED
3. Got under the truck and looked at the steering system for any obvious damage. NOTHING
4. Grabbed a hold of the center link at each point in the steering system (pitman arm, idler arm, tie rods) and tried to move it. NOTHING
5. Jacked up each side and tried to move the wheel. Found one thing. But not sure if it is the cause or not.  The back arm of the upper control arm where it connects to the frame would move as if it is loose. I tried to tighten it, but it would not budge. MAYBE BUSHINGS???
6. If this is not the issue, all I can think of is the alignment or the front shocks. Can either of these ideas cause this shaking?
Any help or ideas you can come up with would help. I am also posting this in the problems area for some ideas from others.

HELLO Ello Ello Ello Ello Lo lo lo lo O o o o o o

Used my multifunction tool from Harbor freight tools with the metal cutting blade.

long time no see guys.  Im going into car concepts tommorrow to have my door speakers replaced, because one of my fronts is buzzing.  Im getting Hertz 6.5 for the front and backs and a pioneer premier 4 channel amp to power them.

So being as it is the 22nd and I am sitting at home.  We did not get the Yellowstone cruise going.  Is there going to be a camping GTG or are we going to throw that under the table too?  Just wondering!  Have not heard from UtahAV at all or a few others.  Is this club dieing a slow and painful death here in Utah?  :B:  ???

I am still here. I just had to leave the state due to a death in the family. Sorry I have not been here as much. I had to use the last of my vacation for this trip to AZ so I will not be able to take any time off for camping. I really love going every year. I am sorry. If there is anything you want to do. let me know.

Well, It finally happened. The radiator could not take any more. I had to replace it yesterday. Good thing I had that other one just waiting in the garage. got it replaced but I must tell you... That bottom hose is a real PAIN IN THE A$$.
Also replaced the battery. This may turn out to be an effective week after all.
