Chattanooga GTG

The date for the GTG will be June 7-8.  I would go a little later in the month but cabin rentals start spiking starting on the 15th. I'm looking at 5 bedroom cabins, but there is a 6 bedroom which is a little pricey at $500 a night which would come out to $83/night for each room.  The 5 bedroom cabins are all $350/night which comes to $70/night for each room.  Below is a pictures of the 6 bedroom cabin.  For more pics of the property: http://www.cabin-rentals-of-georgia.com/cabin/eagles-landing-lodge  Looks like the rafting will be about $40/person.  There is also a river in Blue Ridge called the Toccoa that you can tube for about 3 miles.

The Hiawassee river is down there as well for those who want a couple of different rafting experiences. Its slow water, only a class II,III rapid.
 
WOW, That looks nice!!!!!  I will keep this in mind too....  I have moved to panama city FL but my brother is still in chatt town driving a pewter Z71 w/ambers. Would be nice to see ski, mhough again and new friends as well.  (y)

I haven't forgotten about the GTG. Sorry I haven't been updating I have been in the middle of reupholstering a pontoon boat and building a privacy fence in addition to working my normal job. Now that all of that is complete I will be working on this GTG a little more. Date is still the same, but everything else is still up in the air. I will be posting up with particulars over the next few weeks. I'll also have something in the Facebook club group page as well. I will be needing a head count soon so if you're definitely in let me know.
 
Ok so here's the deal. After erecting a fence, buying new wheels and tires for the Av and a crazy 30th b'day party that somehow ended up on YouTube, I am completely and utterly broke.  So my GTG plans are changing dramatically.  The GTG will still be on the same dates (June 7-:cool:, but instead of renting a cabin and rafting the Ocoee I'll have the GTG at my house for those who still want to come to Chattanooga for a weekend.  I have three bedrooms available so space is limited.  If anyone has any mods they want done let me know so I can tool the garage.  Chattanooga Nightfall has started, which occurs every Friday night in downtown Chattanooga starting at 7pm.  I figure we can cruise to downtown and take part.  Here's a link for Nightfall http://nightfallchattanooga.com

Im not too far from Chatt myself and could come down for the day or hang my hammock up anywhere. The only thing preventing me right now is that I need to get my pitman and idler arm done before I do any real road driving. Hopefully I will get it done next week.
