Ok guys,

Its an idea but I need someone with some audio expertise to help me. Tell me if this sound good!

For all of you who have the 3 piece bed covers, you will know what I'm talking about. They come with a bag to store them in and you strap this bag to the side of the bed wall. Well how about purchasing another bag, building a box with 2 12's or 4 8's and inserting the box in the bag. If you want to water proof it....dont know why you would...get the box Rhino lined before you put it in the bag. Strap the bag to the side and BOOM you have twin matching bags (except one makes noise!!)

Feedback appreciated!

That's a neat idea! :D

My only concern would be that the subs would not face the cabin. I guess there would be a way to design the box to angle the subs toward the cabin...

How about using unconventional methods. Fire the subs down the lenght of the box instead of out from the face. That would mean using 8's or even 6's.

Isn't bass omnidirectional? Do they have to be forward facing? Bazooka tubes usually face toward the sidewall of the vehicle.

I would be concerned that some of the bass gets lost in the bed area. I believe it would be favorable to have the subs face towards the cabin.

I have actually tested this ?;D

It is definitely more painful ... err ... enjoyable with them hitting your back directly than facing up. ?

If you want your bed to really vibrate ... install another two facing the rear >:D ?

I don't think should need more than 4 ... for now at least ?
