Wow i have got to say this has turned into a very intresting thread. (y) I am loving every bit of this. And to any H2 owners reading this i would love to go out and do some wheeling with you guys. most of the time only go with a couple of jeeps around this area and never really get to try what the truck can do. i am a very proud owner of my truck and just love to wheel. That's not very polite you know and I don't appreciate it

Hey!!  There was nothing impolite about it.    :beating:

If you could pull that with a stock AV or Hummer then you get bragging rights.  (y)

Hey we just got this darn post calmed down please don't start that stuff again. The rules are if you don't like it don't read it.

And I'm being very nice about it, not posting what I really think about your comment.

That test is a total joke.  First of all the Escalade was never designed to be offroad capable nor is it adversited to be. And they never really get into where the Hummer is during the whole test.  I would never take a Range Rover where I would go with a H2.  The reality is it just cannot follow.

It was pretty solid ground and 110 degrees, Escalade no way it should  have been there.

Range Rover is a very capable truck they drove one around the world.

I wonder how real this test was . I don't think it was very good

That "test" was humorous.  I have wheeled with a lifted LR on 33s and was supposed to be a pretty capable rig.  Long story short he had an open rear dif and he stood no chance.  He sat out on half the trip.  They also brought a LR3 on 31in BFG ATs but he didnt even make to the first trail after riding shotgun in a Hummer the previous day to check out what it was like.

This is the same obstacle, notice my line and notice the LR line obviously a bypass:

I didnt drive 9 hours for a scenic drive, i wanted to do some crawlin!  Pictures dont show the whole story but to give you perspective i was running my 37s that day.

Hey Boss you notice they were not rock crawling and the video was quite edited.

Once you reach a certain number (undisclosed) of posts you will be able to PM. This is done to keep spammers from creating accounts and then PM spamming members with unwanted BS or as the in the last case, gay porn.........
As if straight porn would be acceptable here!

Some people here may not consider gay porn to be undesirable BS, so I didn't want to lump it in to a category that might potentially offend someone............

Like I'm worried about what you really think.

I have done NOTHING wrong here!

Hey Eeaton5 or DESERTAV or whatever your name is,  I just wanted to let you know that in the middle of your identity crisis I was nice enough to modify my few post were i quote you to reflect your name.  I wanted to make sure you get credit for your statements.  I also wanted to thank you for deleting your post which were obviously posted in a mad rage.  That was standup IMO.

It would be nice to get back to the H2 vs AV and as Eeaton5 of Desertav or whatever his name is has pointed out, one clear advantage of the AV is the better gas mileage.  Specificly Eeton5 or Desertav or whatever his name is has poined out, his rig with 8inches of lift and running 37s gets 18.3mpg.  I find this incredible.  I would like to know what other AV owners think.  Please discuss.

Boss Hoss - you're treading a fine line with posts like this last one.

I changed my screen name because i have wanted to do it for some time and now seemed like a good one. As for the discussion I have stopped participating because I value the quality and integrity of this site. I removed all my posts because of the same reason. I do not want to fill this site with smut because of different opinions.

It's a silly discussion anyway,...

A stock H2 is better than a stock AV offroad, once you start lifting and changing wheels all bets are off. It becomes a constest of who is the best mechanic or who has the most money. The AV and H2 are on the same basic platform so either can be enhanced.

I prefer the low road, "My AV cost me way less than an H2"  :p

I REALLY like my AV..  >:D

Well put.  I've seen $150k+ dumped into a toyota SUV to make it the worlds best Arctic tundra crosser...but not many of us have $150k or the knowledge/desire to do so...including myself.  Given the right equipment, a Geo Tracker could out perform the AV,H1,H2,H3, Corvette,Porsche,BMW...you name it. Money IS everything!

Yeah I am sick of the crap and boys behaving like children...

so this thread is locked.

Be friendly or LEAVE ....
