i pretty sure it was a magazine build-up.... http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/brandpages/chevy/131_0308_ultimate_avalanche_part_1/index.htmlTimgco said:Here's an Av that would ahve a better chance offroad against an H2. This is an old AV, but was bad a$$. I thought Poison SPider built it.

I was respectful to you and did not call you any names. but I guess that's how you need to show your intelligence. Maybe you should not post anymore on this avalanche site.

if you have to swap out tie rods out to make it offroad worthy, does'nt sound very capable does it?Boss Hoss said:Thats a broken tie rod, which i discussed earlier with the maestro of wheeling, eeaton. Those who actually wheel their rigs swap out the tie rods with the Fabtech hd rods. Unfortunately your rig shares the same weak tie rods as the H2. For a wheeling tip(eeaton please read past this as you are a wheeling expert) the two enemies of the IFS in our trucks is wheel spin and forced steering. Notice right before the passenger side tie rod snaps the driver basicly guns it and the drivers side wheel is spinning excessively.

Lets face it. The AV is a great truck. But when GM decided to get serious about offroad they decided it was time for HUMMER.

H2Driver said:Hmmmmm.... Lets talk about the H2 Rear Suspension. Its a 5 Link Coil or Airbag Setup. Very flexable. I have not heard of anyone having problems with the rear axles. The H2 does use the 6l80e has 400+ ft lbs of torque tows 8000#'s and as far as climbing well.....Proof:

Lets face it, its all very similar to the AV set up. GM just turned it up a notch with HUMMER.
