PARADE TIME!!!
I have entered us in the Chisholm Trail Parade I didn't know how many AVs would come, but I put us down for 6 max only as per the rules. Parade is Saturday, June 14, 2003; lineup is at 8:15am and must be ready to move by 9:30am.

We have our 6 AVs! We should have a backup AV just in case there is a no show.

TAKE A DAY TRIP TO LOCKHART!! We're just 25 miles south of Austin, TX. on US Highway 183. Just a one hour drive northeast of San Antonio (IH 35 to SH 142 or IH 10 to US 183) and only 17 miles east of San Marcos.

Thursday, June 12th

5:00 p.m. Park Opens

7:00 p.m. Queen's Coronation

8:00 p.m. Awesome Auction

Other activities will continue throughout the evening



Friday, June 13th

5:00 p.m. Park Opens

Various activities will continue during the evening

8:00 p.m. Kiwanis Rodeo-Schneider Arena-State Park

9:00 p.m. Dance featuring Tejano music



Saturday, June 14th

10:00 a.m. Grand Parade

Noon Park Opens

Barbecue Cook-off

Various activities during the day

8:00 p.m. Kiwanis Rodeo-Schneider Arena-State Park

Sunday, June 15th

Noon Park Opens

Various activities during the afternoon

So very cool, I will be the only one with my Business trailer so I have requested that my business and the AV group be placed together in the parade.

Maybe you can come down and celebrate your graduation with us after you have completed it. I am sure we will continue doing stuff after the parade.

Good idea Tribal, ACA members are ready to celebrate another graduation, we just celebrated Texascwgrl's last weekend and we are ready for another party!

Isn't this one the parade that we were asked to participate in after the Lockhart, CTMAH run? If so we need all 20+ Avs there.
 
Okay, I read the first page again and you state that you only are allowed 6 Avs. Sorry. When we made our big run to the Museum I coulda swore someone 'official' in Lockhart invited Goo to have us come back for this parade all 20+ strong.

I will go back into the woodwork now.

I'm not, I still need to replace the decals on the side of my truck and the decals that go on the tailgate.
I will get it done soon though.

Hey there Tribal,

Musiks and I were cruising around San Antonio around the Brackenridge area and we stopped at Alamo Staduim to take some pics. I took these of the cool looking Z66 decals you made for him, they looke awesome :rolleyes:

I saw Chubbs' decals also on Friday, they look cool :cool:
 
Chubbs got his new set yesterday (Sunday).



My AV is naked!!! I will take a picture of it before I put the new decals on. I will have them on Friday when I go to the movies with you guys (ACA)

Darn I was looking forward to seeing a pic of your new decals, oh well I guess I have to wait till Saturday since you will be in the blue truck on friday!

I saw Chubb's decals yesterday, not on the AV but they look great!
