Since I missed out on the donuts last year, I'm going to try to make it this year, but will have to see when my doctor gets me on the calendar for my gastric bypass surgery.

I was in Volant in June for the Strawberry Festival and assumed there were no donuts because there was no line.
Yes there were donuts, just no line. It was very nice to get donuts with zero wait time. Seemed too good to be true.

Pencil us in! We will be in Disney the week before, but we should be able to make it.

That is, depending on how financially drained we are when we make it back.

Also, we are flying Allegiant, so that could read "if we make it back"

Make me a +3, Ashley talked her parents into coming with us this year!

You don't need money, its about the experience, not the donuts

Count us in, but we aren't yet doing dining in, so will probably skip the restaurant.

I did and I am sorry I did. It looks like a hunk of fungus

I googled it myself. I'd heard it on TV or radio, but never seen it in person. I am actually wondering if the cheese house even has any of it

The cheese of kings and popes.

I'm betting none of those dudes have ever had a good bowl of cheese dip.

OOOOF.. I will buy my own Cheese at this point. No blue cheese for this guy. Or gorgonzola..

We still plan on attending, and Ashley's parents are still coming with us.

The day after we got back from Disney, we were not feeling 100%, so we went and got COVID tested and we won the lottery! (Without a visit from our governor or his sidekick babydog)

We are out of quarantine Wednesday and I am back to work then. Still have Friday off as far as I know though.

We consider ourselves lucky! Minimal symptoms other than loss of taste and smell, aches, slight cough, and a low grade fever early on. Other than that I am just DOG TIRED!

I sure hope I have my taste and smell back by then, if not I may have to take you up on the Roquefort! LOL

For anyone wanting to cruise together from Ohio, I guess this means you, OldVMer.
GoldBowTie plans to leave Summit Racing about 8:30 and will be getting on I76 east to head to Pennsylvania.

FRS radios on channel 8.

I have made no dinner reservations anywhere.
We have a small group this year, so I think we can "wing it" and make any dinner decisions the day of.
Dinner is not a requirement, so if we don't eat together after Volant, that is OK.

Unfortunately I will not be making it this year. After spending the past 4 days on an unexpected vacation in Raleigh NC, Im just heading home.
On Monday I was heading through Raleigh and my truck decided to start puking coolant. After sitting on the side of the road for 5 hrs, I was able to get towed to a shop. They found both water pumps and the primary radiator to be leaking. I'm thankful to the shop for getting the repairs done quickly, but not happy about them taking advantage of my situation. $3300, breaks down to about 1300 in parts and 2000 in labor.
I love being on the road, but I'll see guys at the next one. Have a donut for me, hope you all are safe and have fun.

Yikes. Breakdowns are no fun.

James, sorry to hear about your situation. We'll see you another time. I'll be happy to have a donut for you.
OldVMer, we'll see you at Summit.

Well now I'm a bit worried as it has been more than a week since Volant and no one has posted anything.
