Does anyone know how to get the outside mirror backs off without damaging the mirrors or the backs. I would like to order chrome ones to replace them with, but I'm too chicken to pry to hard on them to get them off.

Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Larry

What I did THE SECOND TIME AROUND (first time one cracked, dam tape :E: :E:) I took small steak knife, any knife whith a thin blade will do. Stick the knife in between the cover and the edge of the mirror molding and slide it around the whole cover cutting the double sided tape on the inside. This is what holds them on real good. After you do this all the way around you can just easly grab one side and pop the clips out and the whole cover will come right off then you just need to clean off the old double sided tape that was left on.

I hope this helps. I tried just easley prying them off the first time and it ended up costing me $50. :C: :C:
