CLADDING vs. NO CLADDING

Thats one im still on the fence about ... I dont feel the need to right now because with a coat of r&r my cladding looks almost black, but it sure would be nice if it stayed

I can respect the cladding, and I see its purpose...it does make it look more rugged, however, non cladding is my vote. Truck with non cladding, level and tires just looks clean.

W/O cladding looks like a Tahoe or any other Chevy truck from the front.

In fact when I see the newer AVs on the road coming down the street I have no idea its an AV or not?
In my opinion cladding makes the AV period. Its what separates the boys from the men haha (kidding)

Cladding ! All DAY !
That's the whole reason I bought the white AV with a smidge more miles than a black one. The contrast of white on black cladding was sexy as hell

i still love cladding all the way but i will say parts support is better without cladding wuan2000 has it made his doents have cladding so has all the parts support but bed linered where cladding would be workds great!

What did you use to remove the pinstripes? I'm not sure if I'm very fond of my pinstripes.

LOL. I peeled it by hand using just my fingernails. It was a long task as it cut every few inches. Afterwards I used Goo-Gone to get rid of the adhesive residue on the paint.

Here's a little know fact (unless its already been posted)

You can't get cut-out fender flares for cladded Avalanches - they don't exist. So if you get big fat tires and a suspension lift, no cut-outs out there to deflect all the rocks you'll be spraying around.

You can't buy them pre-made but you sure can mod one to make it fit perfectly.
Few folks have done so on their trucks.

And that's why my flares are from a Dodge 2500...a few snipping and bam! Looks like it was made for it

A super easy mod that took me less than an hour to install
