Just throwing this info for troubleshooting purposes. I recently had a clunking noise apparently coming from the driver front side. It can be felted on the floor. I change both Left and Right upper control arm due to excessive play. Didn't took away the clunk noise.
A single clunk noise can be heard and felt while accelerating < 5-15 MPH straight or while turning. It ended to be a loose Transmission Mount Bolts. Problem fixed, clunk noise gone.
I checked here before for possible causes, worn tie rods, body mounts, hub bearings, Driver Side Engine Mount, universal joints, etc. Thank God I didn't change all of it.
Hope this could help someone out there and good luck (y)

Thanks for the tip.  I also have a vibration which I guess could also be caused by that. I'll have to check it out before I do the full front end refresh I was planning.  Could save me some coin.

makes you wonder how it came loose.  Def a good thing it wasn't a bigger issue.  (y)

I noticed that I have a bit of transmission fluid seepage (not enough to drip to the floor) that run down thru the mount bolts. That, plus vibration/trans torque make them loose I guess. I pulled the bolts,  cleaned the bolts, transmission and applied Locktite.
