I'm leaving NC, and moving back to ID, the middle of July, The 18th - 30th.  Haven't really been all that active on the boards due to my work here, but plan on doing more to the av, and getting to know people once I get back home. I'll be heading up north the Priest River Sandpoint area first, and then down south either Boise, Pocatello, or twin Falls, not sure yet. waiting on the new company to come back and tell me where.

Nah I'm not working for Micron I'm working for the FAA at the airport.

I'm in Boise now, living over in the village at columbia for at least 6 months or so until I get to know the area a little better and then buy a house.

anybody who may know the area I need the name of a good body shop. I have some work that needs done.   The Trucks previous owner didn't take all that great shape of it and living on the coast of NC like it had been the frame is rusted some, and so are the drip rails under the door sills along the roof. not to big of a deal but just need it fixed nobody knows its there but me, but it bugs me plus I have a few dings and dents that need to be fixed.

So far I'm loving the area though and can't wait to get a chance to get out a little more I'm kinda slammed with work right now.

Hey Darkhorse I lived in that area from 94 - 97.  Can't help you with a dealership Though.. I know the chevy dealership in Twinfalls right across the snake river canyon is probably the best in Idaho though.  I was born in Jerome.  Anyway I got a house in Middleton and drove the extra miles to work because of the quietness and peaceful living there.  Did not want to goto SLC but the money was right and i was closer to my parents in Idaho Falls.

Hey Darkhorse, if you are up to a drive, the Utah group is having a Rolling GTG on the 7th or 8th of Sept. It sounds like a fun trip. I am going to be going and thought it would be cool to have another Idaho member there.

I'll have to check my schedule and everything but I'm almost sure that it is full that weekend. . . Been here less than a week so far and already have a almost full schedule for the next month.

Glad to hear you're getting settled in.

I love Idaho.  I hope you will too.

I moved here from Las Vegas and I just love the piece and quiet here. The hardest thing to get use to is the way we drive around here. Living in Boise you won,t notice it as much. When you get outside of there you will notice that things move a little slower. Most people do not try to cut you off or pull out in front of you. People out here are just not as much in a rush to get anywhere.

Shane - maybe thats because there's no place to go!!

Sorry - couldn't resist! I know... :beating:

hope all goes well with you're move...

I love the treasure valley area...
lots to see and do!

I'm familiar with Northern Idaho up around Priest river, Sand point area, I have spent lots of time up there.  That is what pushed me to take this job in Boise.  Yeah they drive Slow here too, not that bad but a lot of the time I'll come up on somebody doing 70 in a 65 and they are doing 55 or 60.  But all in all so far I'm extremely happy with the area and what the area offers. there is tons to do.  (y)
