My new Corsa exhaust came in but has Yukon 6.0 on the muffler box and instructions inside mention Yukon, Tahoe, Escalade but not Avalanche (does mention Avalanche on the pipes box)
Did I get the right stuff???

If I remember correctly yes you did ??? easy enough to verify by calling Corsa and asking for Jim Browning, Jr.

Thanks...I don't see anywhere on the boxes that show the stock number from their website...last minute jitters...just didn't want the old exhaust off and the new one to become a backordered part...GAWD I WANT THIS EXHAUST ON!!! C'MON!!
Thanks, by the way! :B:  :D ;) (y)

Silver...

I had the same jitters a few minutes before I left to go the place that installed it. All worked out ok and the CORSA KICKS ASS!!!

I am very happy with it.

ENJOY!!!

CT.

I got it on today...sounds great...nice growl with a great bark at WOT!!! >:D ;D (y)
Gotta get used to the motorboat gurgle and popping on decelleration but it is still new. (y) :B:

My Chevy Dealership that deal with exclusively now is offering the corsa exhaust through the dealership. Has anyone found this at your dealership?
My service manager called me over the other day while they were doing my oil change and showed me the system on his computer. Had the sounds set up for each vehicle and comes with warranty through the dealership. They will install it for you at the dealership. Thought it was pretty cool for a GM dealership to start selling this as an add on. Must be pretty good to pass the General's test>>>>>>>

Dealer cost was around 525 and retail was around 750. This was for the system from the catalytic converters back. Tips were an extra 150 for the single outlet dual tip......
Service manager is getting one for 350 and installing on his shop truck, Silverado-5.3 litre extended cab...

Silversport- how long did it take you to get it from Order date and where did you order it? And, did you get all the brackets and bolts? I am just trying to figure out if 7 weeks seems like forever. Thanks. Perhaps they all take time to get made and shipped.

1st, SilverSport, don't worry. the Corsa will still work for you. mine said Cadi 6.0l when i got it. knowing that the difference is inside the motor i hooked it up any way. have had no prob's to this day.

2nd, Zeeya2k, i also found this deal at my local chevy dealer. i got mine system through them as well.

It's the right one and I love it...got one for the 'Vette as well...Corsa is a GM licensed product...You'll love it!
Thanks to everyone that helped and replied!
Bill :B: ;D :D ;) :) (y)

Since it is a GM sponsored product, I wonder if Delillo Chevrolet or the other site sponsoring dealership can get the system for 10% above cost? Seems like it would be worth looking into. I wish I had known that dealers could order the Corsa's b/4 I went the Magnaflow route. Oh well, maybe I'll add one in a few years.

TXAV2003 - I would be interested if someone would check on this or possibly find a 3rd party for a group buy. I would be interested in a stainess Cat-back system with the chrome dual outlet set-up.

I am working on a "Exclusive Supplier" deal with Corsa as we speak.
Which would include a CAFCNA discount.
I'll let you guys in on the details as soon as they are hashed out. Could be a couple of weeks thought.

Try the Performance thread on the Index and you will find everything you ever wanted to know about the CORSA exhaust including a dealer in Montana who has great service, price and customer support assistance. You will not find a single negative remark- the CORSA is primo and really built and comes with excellent installation instructions and you will not regret the purchase. Prepare for high price to equal the quality.

Any news on this Group buy yet??

Thanks

My talks with Corsa have sorta tappered off until the situation with this board is resolved. I'm not going to set myself, or the club, up for embarrassment.
But I will contact them again this week, or first of next week.

Good point Rob.

I have been in contact with TByrne Motorsports to get a group purchase going on the Corsa exhaust (sport or touring version). We need 10 or more people to make the buy happen. I'm in, so we only need 9 people minimum.

Please send me a PM for pricing as it is confidential information from TByrne.

Count me in as # 2!!

Lets go everybody, Lets make this happen!

Summer is the time to make a healthy growl while you are cruisin'

What is the difference between the sport and touring models? I may be interested in the group buy if the price is right. My dealer told me his cost was $474.00 list $672.00. Said he would sell me one for $574.00. If you can get one to my door cheaper I would be interested.
Changed my mind.?
I just purchased the Gibson SS extreme dual cat back and K&N PIFK Gen II. Will be in Friday. Let you know how it sounds after mods.

Hopefully this will get grouped by an administrator to the "group buy'" reference thread just above here for all to see. Please also look up for the threads.

Any price on group buy, before I go to my dealership and beg my service manager to donate half so he can show other customers and use it for demo.hahaha
Have not seen a price listed for the possible group buy, or Have I missed it.

My contact at Corsa said that they can not offer discounted prices direct to the public, because they don't want to piss off any of their distributor/re-sellers.
However, they would be willing to run the discount through the re-seller (Chevy Dealer or TBryne Motorsports). He is working on detail today. I'll keep you guys posted on details.

New to the club and ownership, avalanache is a black 03 z66. Just installed the Corsa system thanks to you guys. Ordered from factory 699 and paid 80 at midas to install. Has wife approval! Sounds amazing at throttle and cruizing is extremely quiet. Aside from the air filters, programmers and superchargers - is there a way to significnatly upgrade performance for 4-5k? ;D
