Ok guys and gals it has been a long while since I have posted but now is as good as a time as any right?

Well I saw the other post on the Corsa Exhaust and I happen to have it installed on my AV.

Lemme tell you that the sound bites on their website sound great BUT they do not do it justice.

My AV now sounds so mean from the outside it scares even me. From the inside it sounds nice and low when I want to hear it and when I dont want to hear it I dont even know its there.

I was almost disappointed by the sound until a friend of mine drove it next to me while I was in his car. OMG does this thing sound awesome. It is hands down the best exhaust sound I have ever heard. If you go to the website listen to the Viper when it is reving and doing the dyno. Thats what the AV sounds like in person.

So if anyone has any doubts take a trip to South Florida and I will give you a listen.

And for whatever its worth the installer I had do it has been installing exhaust systems in my town for over 30 years. And when i took him the system he said he didnt need the directions because they never worked anyway. So I said ok. When I picked it up I asked how it went. He was amazed at how easy this system went in, he said everything went where it was supposed to using the stock hangers. So there will be no rattle or anything. He charged me $60 to install it. He did a bang up job.

Well this was a long read but I had to get it all out.

Glad ya like it!! ?(y) ;D

I put a few of my own sound files up.... HERE.

I too wasn't all that sure about the sound of the truck.. What gets me, is when the truck upshifts early, like it always does, it lugs the engine a bit and the exhaust makes the truck sound like a farm tractor. ?It's especially a problem for me, as I live in quite a hilly area. ?

A manual tranny would REALLY let this exhaust shine. ?(then I'd actually be able to keep it at 2 grand and let up on the throttle to quiet it down - rather than to have the truck go "GLUGLUGGLUGGLUGGLUG" up the hills)

Hi Mark,

I got the same problem with mine.

I just hit the tow/haul button and it seems to downshift half a gear (torque converter unlocks?). Puts me right in the rpm range I want. I use this so much I'm going to locate a second tow/haul button on my center console. I always rest my arm on the console so I'm going to locate the button right under my opinion finger. I also thought of putting a button on the floor under my left foot, like the old dimmer switches.

We'll see how it works out.

That's an awesome idea! (y)

I suppose you could get a little carried away with it, and get one of those toggle (well, it'd have to be momentary, right?) switches with the flip-top cover. ;D

I too, usually go for the button when I see a large hill ahead. >:D

It would be of great help to post all the information and posts about Corsa Exhaust in one place so people can access all the information available on this site easily. It will also give more room on the first page for a variety of different topics.

Thank you for your cooperation.
