There are several members in Canada and at least one I remember being from The Netherlands (Holland). Since the AV is made in Mexico I imagine there are some AV owners down there but I have not seen any on the site.

I assume however MR. Skidd has the distance record! This is cool. I cannot imagine the expense of shipping and modding (legal reqs) as Mr. Skidd did or any other members from other nations. I had enough anxiety after buying mine and taking on 1 payment equal to 2 normal vehicles (although this certainly isn't normal ;D). I was curious, I see a lot on the road and actully at my work I think I am the only one (Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt MD). I have never owned a car that had a fan club either so this is all kind of new :).

I think there is a member in Japan, also. The AV's gotta be the biggest vehicle on the road over there!

I know there is one in Scotland and the member didn't have to convert it to RH drive... lucky bugger!

I went out the engineer today and found that they haven't even started it yet. ?:-[

They are still getting some of the compliance issues sorted out... I watched them push into the back of the drivers & passengers seats of a Tahoe... with 560kg of force. ?They bent the seat frame and now it is stuffed... they have to do this to prove that the seats meet our compliance requirements. ?

I was like... "What about my av?" ?It's Ok they are the same seats as these so they wont need to be tested. ?Whew!!

Looks like I'm looking at mid May someetime now. ?:cautious:
