Cowl Shroud Removal?

So I'm pulling my engine to do some work on it, and I'm trying to remove the cowl shroud, but I can't get the windshield wipers off. I've heard they need to be in the fully up position, but I've already got the wiring harness completely Pulled off of the engine, and  all kinds of Parts pulled off of the motor, because it's ready to pull, so I don't think it's wise to hook the battery back up now.

probably would have been a good idea to do this in the beginning, but originally I didn't plan on pulling the motor, because it was just going to be a cam swap, but after Starting to take it apart, I noticed gaskets were leaking everywhere, and decided to pull the motor.

How do I get these Wiper arms off so that I can remove shroud? Anyone know of any videos? Or possibly some step by step instructions? Any help would be useful. Thanks.

I used a Windshield Wiper Puller to get mine off.

They are also sold at parts stores and Harbor Freight.

Mine did not need to be in any certain position to remove.

They just get really stuck.

Hit the bolt with some penetrating spray first.

Awesome. Maybe I was getting bad info that cemented because they were being a b-word. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
